Some of you may be wondering why we have this goal of becoming self-made millionaires. Quite frankly, I don't want to live a "luxurious" life by any means. I like the simple life, and I sure as heck don't want to clean and maintain a huge house!
This is a goal we set for ourselves and we want to see if we can actually accomplish it off of mediocre salaries. If you put your mind to something, you can accomplish it, right? Right.
Why a million? Well, why not? I want to be able to live life completely free of financial stress. Having a million dollars in the bank (or more) would certainly provide financial security. I want to be able to leave something for my girls, I want to help them with college and weddings, I want to donate some of our earnings and I want my husband and I to enjoy our retirement.
I recently read an article that quoted a millionaire saying how easy it was to make that a million dollars. I want to know if he's right, and I want to share our journey from the beginning.
